Highlights of a lovely London weekend.

by Sophie Brown

So this weekend was spent in my favourite capital with great friends, amazing 90's music and an intoxicating mix of Prosecco and rum. Top highlights were:

.Visiting my friend's fabulous new flat in South Hampstead (or South Hampton as we called it after a few train wines).

. Christening the new flat with cerise flutes of various alcoholic beverages and dancing round the front room to Britney.

.Calling the new flat "ours" all weekend, I settled in quickly.

.Waking up on the Saturday morning to a beautiful blue and crisp London day.

.Finding a diamond in the rough on Kilburn High Road, The Betsy Smith. Absolutely enchanting décor inside, full of magical trinkets and imaginative cocktails. I recommend the warmed up Pimms, perfect for a chilly day.  It inspired me to try stripy walls in my house and hang birdcages from the ceiling. Also, watch out for the family of badgers in the Burrow, they are going places.

. The flippin' amazing music in Concrete on Saturday. We all nearly fell to the floor when Jumpin' Jumpin' came on. So much fun.

.Randomly spotting Rachel Riley from Countdown and Strictly fame and getting a photo, what a lovely girl!

.Pj's and beans on toast on the Sunday morning chatting about how lovely our little weekend had been.

See you soon London!
