I must confess I am a big fan of the post Christmas sales. I always manage to come home with a big pile of experimental buys, like enormous flares or some sort of paisley print shirt that I am convinced I will wear one day when I get a job in a really cool, international design company. This year, after throwing away piles of these ridiculous buys from previous years, I decided to only buy absolute, classic bargains or something that I have wanted for ages that miraculously managed to find itself on the sales rack which is what magically happened when I visited Topshop a few days ago. I absolutely love a good pencil skirt or a dress with a fitted pencil skirt bottom and had my eyes on a gorgeous print Topshop Unique fitted pencil dress for ages over the summer but when I saw the price tag said 80 quid, that dream was quickly over.
Imagine my surprise when in the deepest, darkest depths of the dress rack I found this dress for twenty pounds! I didn't even try it on, I just wrapped it up in my arms and ran for it to the cashier desk, it was the only one left and I wasn't risking anything. Luckily, it fitted great when I got home and now is hanging in my closet ready for some Spring action!
